Once Upon A Midnight picture book Story by Kelly Morrison Handerhan  Illustrations by Diana Ting Delosh I'm happy to announce that the illustrations for Once Upon A Midnight  are now finished, published and available on Amazon as a picture book. I had a lot of fun illustrating  Andy the Pug on his midnight romp as he investigates the source of some mysterious howling. Is it banshees Or worse...baby? I even had the opportunity to create the illustrated title type. I will be blogging about my illustration process behind this book on my blog dtdelosh.blogspot.com . Dickens - Diana Ting Delosh

Image
A Ghost of a Wedding Cake © Diana Ting Delosh Black Medium Point Bic® Pen   This illustration is inspired by the Charles Dickens novel,   Great Expectations .  Miss Havisham's wedding cake has been standing as it was the day she was jilted. Over the years the frosting has hardened and now the cake is inhabited by spiders, centipedes, noseeums, rats, ants and is festooned in cobwebs and dead roses. A ghost of a wedding cake for a ghost of  bride. The above illo is part of the  CBIG Illustration Exhibit, A Celebration of Dickens in Pictures at the Yonkers Riverfront Library Gallery . The show will run from August 25th to October 31st, 2012.  The artists reception will be on September 13th. For a complete schedule of events for this show please visit  cbig-nycexhibits.blogspot.com/  . Diana Ting Delosh - ANTICIPATION!

Image
Anticipation! © Diana Ting Delosh Ink and Watercolor Kitten can't wait for the cupcakes to finish baking.  Exactly how Diana feels when she's working on a project. She can't wait for it to be Baked. She can see the finished project in her mind. It's just a matter of the reality matching up with the dream. Will the finished art fall flat or rise to the occasion.   ANTICIPATION is an illustration from her latest picture book dummy M-M-M-M CUPCAKES! You can read about it on her blog at dtdelosh.blogspot.com You can also find more Yummy art on her portfolio at dianadelosh.com

Aesop's Fables - Diana Ting Delosh

Personally, a Rainbow Cookie is worth more effort over any old piece of cheese.Unless of course, if it's brie on lovely french baguette. The above is a page from the CBIG AESOP'S FABLES Illustration Catalog. The PDF may now be downloaded from our website,   www.cbig-nyc.com or click HERE to go directly to the page. All 26 participating member illustrations will be posted on this blog during the months of September and October 2011  in the order that they appear in the catalog.
